It was again resubmitted in 2003, and officially recognized
November 9, 2005
This is a copy of the Letter from the U.S. Census Bureau that confirms the Afrimerican Word and Definition has been accepted and is an officially recognized term by the United States Government to describe Black people born in the U.S.
